Many crimes committed by football players that have come out recently have involved domestic abuse or assault. Sept. 18’s editorial suggests that football fans are concerned and are using social media as an outlet for their feelings but are still supporting the NFL. It seemed like a list of crimes that have happened in the past few months felt necessary to show the amount of football players committing these offenses.

These are the people that have been arrested in the past three months for a violent crime.

Sept. 18: Jonathan Dwyer — domestic violence

Sept. 11: Adrian Peterson — child abuse

Sept. 8: Quincy Enunwa — domestic violence

Aug. 30: Ray McDonald — domestic violence

July 20: Jo-Lonn Dunbar — battery

July 18: Keelan Johnson — assault

Just in the past few months, this many people have been arrested. More and more NFL players are being charged with violent crimes. In order to put an end to this, people need to stop supporting players that are making these offenses.
