Reserving textbooks

Saige Heyer

The University Book Store allows students to reserve their textbooks in advance. This service, the Early Bird Textbook Reservation, is free to students.

To reserve your textbooks, follow these steps:

1. Log in to AccessPlus.

2. Go to your Class Schedule and click “View complete textbook list.”

3. From here, they will prompt you as to which textbooks you’d like to reserve, how you’d like to pay for them and what to do if more textbooks are added to your list of required materials before your order is filled.

4. Pick up your textbooks in the Multicultural Center on the second floor of the Memorial Union between Aug. 20 and 23.

Adam Wangler, who works in the University Book Store’s textbook department, said that if students don’t pick up their books during the pick-up dates, they are taken back to the book store where they contact the students via phone and email.

The book store will hold on to the order for a few more days and then the books will go back on the shelves if they still haven’t been picked up. Orders that are put back on the shelves will be refunded in full to the student.
