Senior ISU swimmer Imelda Wistey represented the Cyclones in the NCAA Championships for the first time in her career March 21 in Minneapolis, Minn.

Wistey finished 34th in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:01.14. She was seeded eighth in her heat and placed fourth within that context.

With her 34th place finish, Wistey just missed the cut for advancing to the 100-yard breaststroke finals. However, Wistey will have another opportunity to clinch a spot in the 200-yard breaststroke finals March 22.

Wistey will be in action around 11 a.m. March 22 for the 200-yard breaststroke preliminary heats.
