Three athletes finish in top 10 at Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational

The Iowa State men’s track and field team finished up the second day of the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational on Saturday with high finishes in field events.

The Cyclones had three athletes finish in the top 10 throughout the weekend.

Sophomore thrower Jan Jeuschede finished sixth in the shot put with a throw of 58-01, which was followed with another sixth place finish in the triple jump by sophomore Kevin Poster with a jump of 48-04.50. The jump was Poster’s best indoor mark.

Redshirt junior Cameron Ostrowski lead the team with a fourth place finish in the high jump with a leap of 6-10.75.

The Cyclones will be back at it next weekend when they host the ISU Classic.
