Sophomore forward Madison Baier tore the ACL in her right knee against Cal State Fullerton on Sunday, Dec. 8, Iowa State announced on Monday night. She played 10 minutes and had three rebounds before the injury in the 79-52 win against the Titans.

Baier has played in all eight games so far this season and averages almost 11 minutes per game. She adds almost two points and three rebounds off the bench per game.

Baier is expected to miss the rest of the season. The injury puts a dent in Iowa State’s already small roster of only 12 players.

Junior guard Brynn Williamson returned to practice after missing the Cal State Fullerton game due to a head contusion suffered in practice.  ISU coach Bill Fennelly said she could possibly play against Iowa on Thursday.
