ISU senior libero Kristen Hahn was named Big 12 defensive player of the week for the second-straight week.

This is the 17th Big 12 weekly award of her career, which trumps the Big 12 record of 16 that she set by winning the award the week before.

Hahn had 54 digs, 6.75 per set, in two matches last week against Texas Tech at Hilton Coliseum and against Baylor in Waco, Texas.

In a five-set win against the Red Raiders on Wednesday, Oct. 30, Hahn led the match with 28 digs and had three service aces. She had 26 more digs on Saturday, Nov. 2, in a sweep of Baylor.

Hahn has also tied former ISU volleyball player Ashley Mass’s record for most games with at least 20 digs with 44 in her career.

Hahn and the ISU volleyball team will play a nonconference match against South Dakota on Tuesday, Nov. 5, and return to the Big 12 slate on Saturday, Nov. 9, against Oklahoma. Both matches will be at Hilton Coliseum
