Women’s cross-country make it three in a row at Big 12 Championships; men finish 2nd

The ISU women’s cross-country team have made it three in a row.

The ISU men’s and women’s cross-country teams competed in the Big 12 Championships on Saturday, Nov. 2, in Waco, Texas, with the women’s team winning its third-consecutive conference title and the men’s squad finishing second.

Crystal Nelson finished second in the women’s race with a time of 19:49. Katy Moen came in fourth with a time of 20:33.

Mohamed Hrezi led the men’s team, coming in seventh with a time of 23:24.1.

The women’s win at the conference meet marks its third Big 12 Conference title in as many years.

Both teams will compete in the regional meet on Nov. 15 at the ISU Cross-Country Course.
