NTK Intramural sports

Whether you are looking for a fun time or some competition, Iowa State offers many athletic outlets for students.

Iowa State Recreation Services gives students the opportunity to compete in various forms of intramural and club sports spanning from baseball to Quidditch and everything in between.

For intramurals, you must be a registered student or faculty member before registering yourself or your team for a certain activity. A small registration fee must also be paid before teams can begin competing.

Aside from playing, students are also provided a unique opportunity to gain employment as intramural officials. Team registration and employment information are provided on the recreation services page of Iowa State’s website.

If students are seeking a more intense and competitive form of sport, traveling club teams are also made available for students. Many of the 53 athletic clubs at Iowa State face off against other schools in sanctioned leagues and tournaments.

Look through the vast array of sports and activities the university offers and see which ones interest you the most.
