ISU softball game against UNI canceled

The ISU softball team’s game at Northern Iowa that was scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday has been canceled due to inclement weather and will not be rescheduled.

Wednesday’s game was a postponement of the originally scheduled meeting between the two teams that was supposed to take place on April 3 but was canceled because of rain. This time, rare snow in May is the cause of the cancellation.

The Cyclones (21-30, 4-11 Big 12) now have just four games remaining in the regular nonconference season: one at Drake next Tuesday and a three-game home series against Kansas from May 10 through May 12. Postseason games have yet to be announced.
