Early in the game, it looked like the Cyclones might be heading for the ACHA semifinals, but No. 4 Ohio rallied back for a 3-2 victory in overtime of the third round of the tournament.

ISU goalie Matt Cooper stopped 48-of-51 OU shots in the season-ending loss.

Just 7:07 into the game, ISU forward Austin Parle put the Cyclones on top 1-0. A few minutes later, Antti Helanto scored to put the Cyclones up by two in the first period.

Brett Agnew scored the only OU goal in the first period on the power play and the Cyclones went into the first intermission with a 2-1 lead.

OU goalie Matt Michno allowed two goals on just three ISU shots and was replaced by Fedor Dushkin 10:36 into the game.

The Bobcats’ leading scorer Tyler Pilmore scored another power play goal in the second period to tie the game at 2-2. The third period was scoreless and the game went into overtime.

With less than three minutes remaining in overtime OU forward Michael Harris scored the game-winning goal to send the Bobcats to the final four against No. 3 Minot State at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
