Joe Holub, graduate student in electrical and computer engineering, crouches down behind a barricade while participating in the virtual reality MIRAGE simulator on Feb. 20. The simulator is composed of a 40-foot screen that is lit up by six projectors; each projector is run by a single computer.

BROWN SHIRT: Ken Kopecky, PhD student in computer interaction, and WHITE SHIRT: Joe Holub, computer human interaction and computer engineering. The virtual reality, MIRAGE, is a simulator that consists of full body participation and was created mostly for the army since the simulation can track every human movement as well as weapon positioning. The simulator composes of a 40ft screen that is lit up by six projectors, each projector ran by a single computer.
