Iowa State uses season-high score to defeat Northern Illinois

Iowa State (3-5, 0-2 Big 12) won 195.175 to 194.375 against Northern Illinois (3-3, 1-2 MAC) on Friday.

The 195.175 total is another season-high team overall score for the Cyclones. 

The Cyclones began their night on vault where they scored 48.55. Iowa State and Northern Illinois were tied after the first rotation.

The Cyclones continued its night on the uneven bars where they scored a season high 48.875. After two rotations, Iowa State took the lead 97.425 to 96.925.

On balance beam Iowa State scored 48.725.

The Cyclones scored a 49.025 on floor exercise, another season-high score. 

Junior Camille Santerre-Gervais won the uneven bars title with a score of 9.875. Junior Michelle Shealy had the top score on balance beam with 9.87. Junior Milan Ivory was the final Cyclone with an event title. She scored a 9.875 on floor exercise.
