Cyclones finish Iowa Invitational

The ISU diving team traveled to Iowa City and competed at the Iowa Invitational this weekend for a three-day meet.

Elyse Brouillette contributed two sixth-place dives for the Cyclones making her the high-scorer for the Iowa State.

In day one, Brouillette led the team with a 20th-place finish in 1-meter.

On Saturday, Brouillette finished sixth in the 3-meter with a preliminary score of 281.65 and a score of 298.65 in the finals.

Marley Dobyns finished in 22nd, Megan Cohea took 27th and Dani Davis finished in 32nd in the 3-meter.

Sunday, on platform, Brouillette took sixth with a score of 232.85.

Dobyns finished 12th in platform with a score 206.80 and Megan finished in 17th.

The diving team had been traveling to Iowa City in the previous weekend in order to practice platform and to train for this week.

The team travels to Iowa City again on Dec. 7 with the swim team for the Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series.
