Students debate about fees

Student activities fees have always been a topic of discussion at Iowa State. Whether or not these mandatory fees should be abolished or sustained will be the premise of a student debate which will take place tonight.

These student activities include things such as: activity, service, health and recreation fees. These are a mandatory part of every students tuition, and this debate will being to light issues students have with their willingness to pay fees on services they may not use.

The debate will be held from 7:00-8:30pm in the Campanile Room of the Memorial Union. This event is sponsored by the Government of the Student Body and the speech communications program and is free to attend.
