In a blustery day in Ames with winds up to 27 miles per hour, the ISU soccer team took its instate rival Drake.

Iowa State (10-7, 1-4 Big 12) shut out Drake (12-4-1, 2-0-1 Missouri Valley) 3-0 on Sunday at the new Cyclone Sports Complex.

Junior forward Jennifer Dominguez continued racking up the goals in the new Cyclone Sports Complex with two on the afternoon. She is now at 13 total goals this season.

Junior midfielder Erin Green and junior midfielder Meredith Skitt assisted Dominguez’s goals.

Green had a goal of her own in the second half assisted by junior forward Brittany Morgan. It was Green’s first goal of the season.

The Cyclones are away this weekend for their final Big 12 road trip. They will face Baylor next Friday night and Kansas next Sunday afternoon.
