Obama to speak on Central Campus

President Barack Obama greets an estimated 2,200 people in the Herman Park pavilion on Monday, August 13 in Boone, Iowa before speaking to the crowd. Obama kicked off a three-day bus tour through Iowa in Council Bluffs on Monday morning.

President Barack Obama will be speaking on Central Campus on Tuesday, Aug. 28.

Students will be allowed to enter the event beginning at 10:30 a.m., tickets required.

Tickets are free to the public, but they are being distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

The public may begin to obtain tickets starting on Saturday, Aug. 25, at the Memorial Union or the Organizing for America offices at 413 Northwestern Ave.

Obama’s speech will be part of a two-day college tour.
