After 50 games, the ISU softball season has reached its final weekend.

Iowa State (14-36, 2-19 Big 12) will face off against No. 3 Oklahoma (42-8, 16-5) for a three-game series beginning Friday at 4 p.m. at the Southwest Athletic Complex in Ames.

The Cyclones are led by junior Erica Miller, who during Big 12 play this season has a .381 average with five homeruns and 15 RBIs.

The offense for Iowa State will be challenged by one of the top pitching staffs in the Big 12, with Oklahoma ranked first in the conference in categories such as ERA, strikeouts and runs allowed. Last season, the Cyclones went 0-2 against the Sooners, being outscored 17-1 in the series.

The three-game series will run through the weekend with games on both Saturday and Sunday.
