Central Campus events kick off Veishea week

Monday kicks off the week of Veishea with a campus breakfast on Central Campus.

The breakfast will be held from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. and will be a highlight of the colleges of Business and Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Students will be able to find food on Central Campus throughout the week of Veishea. Barbecue buttons can still be purchased for $5 on Central Campus from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday.

Veishea tournaments on Monday include Madden 12 at 6 p.m., but the location has yet to be announced. Day seven of the five-on-five basketball league will start at 6 p.m. at State Gym and the dodgeball tournament will begin at 6 p.m. at Lied Recreation Athletic Center.

Veishea opening ceremonies will take place Tuesday in the Sun Room of the Memorial Union beginning at 4 p.m. and lasting until 6 p.m. ISU men’s basketball coach Fred Hoiberg will give the keynote address.
