ISU women’s basketball associate head coach Jack Easley will be stepping down from his position, effective June 30.

“All of us associated with Iowa State women’s basketball want to thank coach Easley and his family for nine years of tremendous service to our program,” said ISU coach Bill Fennelly in a news release. “He was a huge part of the great success we have enjoyed over the years. Jack is as good of a person as you will find and we all wish him the very best.”

Easley has spent nine years with the team and has a combined 198-98 record as a coach for the Cyclones. Before coming to Iowa State, Easley spent one year at Providence and 19 years as an assistant at Oklahoma State.

“I would like to thank coach Fennelly and the administration for the opportunity to be a part of the Cyclone family,” Easley said in a news release. “Thank you to our fans for being the best in the country. Walking out of the locker room and coaching in front of all of you the last nine years was a priceless experience.

“Most importantly, I want to thank all the players that I have had the privilege to coach here at Iowa State. You all have made Marla and I feel special. You all are the best.”
