Hilary Seo began as the interim dean in 2019 but began working for the Iowa State Library in 2003 as the head of preservation before becoming the associate dean for Curation Services in 2015. Seo has a bachelor’s degree in physical anthropology from the University of California in Santa Barbara and a master’s in library and information sciences from the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
