No. 12 Cyclones swept by No. 8 Nebraska

The No. 12 ISU volleyball team was swept in three sets (23-25, 15-25, 18-25) by No. 8 Nebraska on Saturday in Lincoln, Neb.

Saturday’s loss is the second-straight sweep suffered by the Cyclones (9-2), and brought their all time record against Nebraska (7-1) to 1-80.

Carly Jenson led the Cyclones with 17 kills while hitting at a .275 clip, followed by Jamie Straube and Tenisha Matlock with four kills a piece.

Gina Mancuso led the Cornhusker attack with 14 kills on the night, along with 11 digs for the double-double.

The Cyclones will be back in action Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Ames to take on Missouri in Hilton Coliseum.
