Cyclones tie 0-0 against Green Bay, continue to hold opponents scoreless

After 110 minutes of play, Iowa State and Green Bay settled for a 0-0 tie on Friday night in Green Bay, Wis.

The Cyclones (2-0-1) topped the Phoenix (1-1-1) in shots taken earning a 24-9 advantage. Sophomore Jennifer Dominguez led the Cyclones in shots taken with five with Green Bay sophomore Hekla Palmadottir leading the Phoenix with three shot attempts.

Sophomore goalkeeper Maddie Jobe tallied three saves against Green Bay, playing all 110 minutes while Green Bay goalkeeper Maddie Drusch totaled 13 saves playing in all 110 minutes of action as well.

The Cyclones return to action on Sunday against No. 23 Washington in Madison, Wis. The game is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
