One could search high and low for a positive statistic to take away from Iowa State’s 68-27 loss to Utah on Saturday.

Such stats are few and far between.

Utah racked up 593 yards of total offense while the Cyclones finished with 348.

ISU running back Alexander Robinson finished with 45 yards on 12 carries. He didn’t play the second half.

Running back Shontrelle Johnson added 50 yards on five carries and running back Jeff Woody tallied 44 yards on seven carries.

Utah quarterback Jordan Wynn threw for 325 yards on 21 completions. He threw one interception.

Utah wide receiver DeVonte Christopher caught six passes for 124 yards.

Utah spread the ball around in the running game as well. Eddie Wide had two touchdowns and 73 yards on 13 carries.

Matt Asiata and Sausan Shakerin both added rushing touchdowns for the Utes.

Cyclones quarterback Austen Arnaud finished with 178 yards passing and two touchdowns.

Tight end Collin Franklin and wide receiver Jake Williams were on the receiving end.
