Iowa State golf in seventh place after day one of Big 12s

The Iowa State men’s golf team finished rounds one and two of the Big 12 Championship on Saturday. 

The Cyclones fell three spots after ending round one in a tie for fourth place. 

Tripp Kinney sits in the top 10 after the first day. Kinney shot even (70) in the first round and 1 under par (69) in the second round.

Kinney is currently in a tie for eighth place. 

The rest of the scores for the Cyclones are as follows:

Lachlan Barker: T37; scored a +5 (75) for the first round and followed up with a +2 (72) for the second round. 

Ricky Costello: T33; shot even in the first round (70) and shot +5 (75) in the second round

Frank Lindwall: 36; shot +1 (71) in the first round and +5 (75) for the second round

Sam Vincent: T21; shot +1 (71) in both rounds
