Jeremy Croghan’s condition has improved from critical to serious as of 11 a.m. Tuesday, according to Gregg Lagan, media relations representative for Mercy Medical Center.

Croghan, senior in finance, fell into a ravine Saturday morning at the southwest corner of Arbor Street and Sheldon Avenue. He was attempting to help a friend who had fallen into the ravine.

Croghan had been in critical condition since the incident.
