VOLLEYBALL: Cyclones roll past Tigers

Led by junior outside hitter Victoria Henson’s 16 kills, the Iowa State volleyball team topped Missouri 3-0 (25-14, 30-28, 25-20) on Saturday night in Columbia, Mo. The Cyclones improve to 24-4 with the win at the Hearnes Center.

Sophomore middle blocker Deb Stadick also paced the Cyclones with 13 kills and four block assists. Freshman middle blocker Jamie Straube and sophomore outside hitter Rachel Hockaday finished with seven kills a piece. Hockaday also posted 13 digs, while Straube fueled the defense at the net with a solo block and two block assists.

The Tigers were led by Paola Ampudia’s 15 kills in the match.
