Ames Police responded at about 6:10 p.m. to the south side of Legacy Towers, 119 Stanton Ave., after a male fell from a fourth-floor balcony of the building.

Ames Police Lt. Geoff Huff said the individual was concious but said he did not know the extent of the man’s injuries. Huff said the individual was taken to Mary Greeley Medical Center, 1111 Duff Ave.,  for treatment.

Huff said at this time it is unknown if the individual consumed alcohol before he fell.
