WOMEN’S NCAA TOURNAMENT: Wieben to play against Spartans

BERKELEY, Calif. – With game time approaching, ISU team officials say senior post player Nicky Wieben is starting against Michigan State.

Wieben’s status was questionable all week after she injured her left foot at the end of the Cyclones’ second-round win against Ball State on Tuesday night.

She wore a boot over the foot throughout the week in order to aid the healing process.

The team said Wieben will remain in the game unless the pain in the foot returns.
