OWI/Traffic Collision, Hyland Avenue and Lincoln Way. An officer observed a vehicle strike two parked cars. The driver, Jeffrey Heyer, 18, of West Des Moines, was subsequently arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.

Public Intoxication, Hyland Avenue and West Street. Matthew Murphy, 19, 2721 West St., was arrested and charged with public intoxication. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.

Traffic Collision, Center Drive. Vehicles driven by Dwight Hagge and Jeffrey Hatlevig were involved in a property damage collision.

Alcohol Violation/Harassment, Lot G3. Tracy Ites, 19, 3133 Frederiksen Court, and Rachel Schmidt, 19, 194 Linden Hall, were cited for underage possession of alcohol. Schmidt was also cited for harassment of a public official.
