LETTER: Daily irresponsible for misspelling names of lecturers, saints

In Tuesday’s Daily article, “Lecturer recognizes modern saints,” there are several errors.

First, in the caption the lecturer is Robert Ellsberg, but in the article his name is misspelled five times as Ellsburg. The correct spelling was the spelling used in the caption of the picture – Ellsberg.

Second, Thomas Murton is misspelled – it should be Merton.

Please check your spelling, then check it again. These types of errors are easily found and should be corrected. As journalists, correctness should be one of your primary concerns.
