MUSCATINE &#8212 A Muscatine man has been charged in a fatal hit-and-run.

Clark Andrew Anderson, 43, was charged with driving while revoked and leaving the scene of a fatality accident.

The man who was killed was struck from behind as he rode his bicycle on Sept. 4. He has not been identified. Officials are asking for help in identifying him. They believe he is in his 40s or 50s.

Detective Mike Bailey of the Muscatine County sheriff’s office said the victim’s fingerprints have been sent to the FBI’s national database for analysis. Investigators have also reviewed photos of missing adults.

The man was traced back to West Liberty on Sept. 4, but investigators haven’t been able to track him before that, Bailey said.

Anderson appeared in court on Tuesday and was being held in the Muscatine County.
