Student Athletes discuss their journey at Iowa State both with academics and athletics. The panel consisted of Marcel Spears (football), Sydney Concarse (Gymnastics), Meredith Burkhall (basketball), David Carr (wrestling), Amelia Grohn (golf) and Liera Bender (tennis). The panel discussed dealing with a primary white institute while balancing academics and athletics as well during the ISCORE Conference. The session was called “The Student-Athlete Expereince through a Multicultural Lens.”
