Chris Conetzkey

Two ISU men’s golfers and an ISU women’s golfer were named Academic All-Americans for the 2006-07 season.

Senior Chris Baker and alumnus Rodney Hamblin of the men’s team were honored by the Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars team, and Jessica Shin of the women’s team was honored by the National Golf Coaches Association.

Baker and Hamblin needed to earn a 3.2 cumulative grade point average and carry a stroke average of under 76 to earn their honors.

Shin needed to earn a 3.50 GPA and participate in 50 percent of the team’s meets, to achieve her honor. Shin, a senior from Mankato, Minn., made the team for the third consecutive year.
