Tennis:

Visit Forker Courts, located on the ISU campus across from the Lied Recreation Athletic Center on Wallace Road. There are eight courts and if you want to avoid the hot summer sun, there are lights that allow for nighttime play.

Bowling:

If you want a break from the heat, head over to 20th Century Bowling at 505 S. Duff Ave. Call 232-5530 for more information.

Mini golf:

If you’re not quite ready to hit the big-time golf courses in Ames, you can still play golf on a smaller scale. Check out Lunar Mini Golf at North Grand Mall, 2801 Grand Ave., for glow-in-the-dark mini golf. For more information call 233-1637.
