Many of us witnessed the offensive activities that took place near the library Wednesday. The group of demonstrators had various signs and pamphlets depicting disturbing images of what they claimed to be aborted fetuses. This group also found it necessary to subject their small children to these appalling displays.

The demonstrators told many students they were going to hell. A woman passing out condoms at Free Condom Wednesdays was called a whore. It is quite sad that she was brutally harassed by clearly misinformed individuals for promoting safe sex.

One of the demonstrators had a T-shirt stating, “GAY: Got AIDS Yet?” The myth that HIV is a gay disease is just that — a myth. The largest growing population of HIV is 15 to 24-year-old heterosexuals, and women make up half of the new cases of HIV.

The group should have researched the facts instead of attacking others with ignorant insults.
