The information in the log comes from ISU Police Department records provided to the Daily. All those accused of violating the law are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
March 5
Kyle Lindahl, 19, of Ruthven, was cited for criminal mischief. He was observed damaging a cement trash container in the Memorial Union the previous evening. A staff member reported that graffiti of a sexual nature had been written on walls with a permanent marker in Friley Hall. Officers assisted a resident who was upset with a roommate’s conduct in Frederiksen Court. The matter will be referred to the Department of Residence.
March 6
A fire extinguisher was discharged in the stairwell at Martin Hall. Juan Carlos Cadenillas-Lezama, 30, of 3528 Lincoln Way, #96, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated on South Fourth St. He was transported to the Story County Jail. A patron reported damage to several vehicle tires in the Memorial Union Ramp. Lauren Lynn, of 3231 Frederiksen Court, reported damage to her car hood in Lot 112.
March 7
Joe Hyneck, of 1635 Amherst Drive, reported the theft of a bike in Howe Hall. The incident occurred sometime since Friday. A staff member reported the theft of a video projector in Music Hall. The incident occurred sometime since Jan. 17. An out-of-state resident reported that his bank account had an unauthorized charge that was apparently made from an on-campus computer in the Armory. Drug paraphernalia was discovered during a consent search of a vehicle at Beach Avenue and Lincoln Way. No charges were filed but the matter remains under investigation.
