LETTER: Don’t let the media decide your vote

When it comes to casting our vote, we are all greatly influenced by what we see on TV. But have you ever wondered if what you see on TV is the real truth?

Recently, I have been watching “The O’Reilly Factor” on the Fox News Network. According to FAIR (Fairness and Accuracy in

Reporting) 82 percent of Bill O’Reilly’s guests are Republican. He carefully chooses the minority of his liberal guests — they are either poor speakers or bad debaters. O’Reilly has the knack of cutting off his guests the moment they start to say anything against the Iraq war, the president or indicate that the economy is in tatters.

I don’t care if you vote Democrat or Republican but let “truth,” and not big news corporations, decide for whom you vote.
