LETTER: Republicans need to do homework
October 18, 2004
Personally, I would like to know how thoroughly Louis Kishkunas (president of the ISU College Republicans) researched Michael Moore’s statements. Kishkunas was apparently handing out fliers disputing Michael Moore’s statements before Moore arrived. However, Monday’s Daily stated that Kishkunas hadn’t seen Moore’s film. If I were him, I would have some qualms with handing out fliers about someone without researching beforehand. Kishkunas is quoted saying that if there are at least 59 things wrong with a movie, it speaks for itself.
I’d like to know how one can draw such a conclusion without first seeing the film and also how Kishkunas is sure nothing is wrong with his “fact” sheets.
