To begin, I don’t know what Iowa State was thinking in spending its students’ money to pay for an over-exposed, trumped-up, “documentary”-making loser to come and speak. Michael Moore is nothing but a mediocre filmmaker who would be even less if it weren’t for clever editing.

He’s against President Bush — OK, but why should I have to pay to hear about it? So he’s against the war in Iraq — that doesn’t help Kerry either, does it? We all well know that Kerry voted for the war. Why are we listening to this guy? What exactly is he offering? As for his so-called “Slacker Uprising Tour,” I really don’t think we need a scruffy, left-wing slacker telling us to get out and vote.
