People think that voter registrars are almost stalkers? If you think this, give me a break. Do you people even know what stalkers are? The only absurd thing about voter registrars is that some people have extraordinarily negative reactions to them.

I mean, all they do is ask you if you’re registered to vote. Depending on your answer, they may ask you if you would like to register. And, heaven forbid, they might even hand you a flier. Get over it and get over yourselves. They’re just real people trying to encourage civic participation.

If you don’t like it, there are two little words that will suffice: “No thanks.”
