The information in the log comes from ISU Police records provided to the Daily. All those accused of violating the law are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

September 26

  • An officer reported that three stop signs had been knocked down at Bissell Road. Temporary signs were placed at each intersection.
  • Aaron Krull, 20, Orange City, was cited for underage possession of alcohol at Chamberlain Street and Welch Avenue.
  • A resident reported the theft of electronic game items at Welch Hall.
  • A resident reported the theft of a purse from her vehicle at University Village.
  • A resident reported the theft of several clothing items from the laundry room at Oak-Elm Hall.

September 27

  • Vehicles owned and/or driven by Kay Christiansen, Soma Chaudhuri and Jonathan Holderbaum were involved in a personal injury collision at 13th Street and Stange Road.
  • A vehicle that left the scene struck a car owned by Jill Oehlerking at Lot S8.

September 28

  • Maxwell Gulden, 18, Gilbert, was cited for possession of a controlled substance at 13th Street and Stange Road. Two 17-year-old males were referred to Juvenile Court Services for the same offense.
  • Brooks Clinton, 20, Woodridge, Ill., was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated at Chamberlain Street and Welch Avenue.
  • An officer observed damage to an access gate, caused by a vehicle being driven over a support post at South 16th Street and Elwood Drive.
  • Cody Pfau, 21, 4128 Frederiksen Court, was arrested and charged with public intoxication at Nuclear Engineering.

September 29

  • A staff member reported that false information was possibly provided regarding a minor accident that occurred in Des Moines on July 28 at Transportation Services.
  • A staff member reported damage to a fence at Pammel Drive.
  • F. A. Faridi reported the theft of a bike. The incident occurred sometime last week at Parks Library.
  • An abandoned bike was placed into secure storage until the owner can be identified at Frederiksen Court.
  • Matt Gurttman, 1300 Coconino Rd., reported damage to his motorcycle at Lagomarcino Hall.
