No. 20 Iowa State moved to 20-6 on the season and to 10-4 in Big 12 play with a 91-70 defeat of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma, on Wednesday.

The win is the Cyclones’ first at Oklahoma since the 2013-14 season, and it marks the 14th time in program history that Iowa State has reached the 20-win milestone in a season.

Iowa State led for most of the game, starting midway through the first quarter and was able to respond nicely after an Oklahoma run in the second quarter tied the game at 29. From there, the Cyclones went on an 8-0 run and never relinquished the lead, eventually taking a 43-32 lead into halftime.

Iowa State then turned on the jets in the second half, scoring 31 points in the third quarter and getting the lead to as high as 26 points in the fourth quarter. This allowed the Cyclones to go into cruise control for the rest of the game, where the team easily earned its 20th win of the season.

Also of note, all five starters for Iowa State scored in double figures in this game. As per usual, leading the way for the Cyclones in this department was senior Bridget Carleton, who had 28 points on 11-for-17 shooting. Carleton also added 10 rebounds for yet another double-double on the season.

Kristen Scott had another strong game, scoring 16 points for the Cyclones. Middleton also had a near double-double of her own with 10 points and nine assists. Madison Wise and Ashley Joens pitched in 14 and 13 points, respectively.

Iowa State will be back in action on Saturday when the team takes on No. 1 Baylor at Hilton Coliseum.
