Election woes
April 21, 2000
To the editor:
As a resident of Buchanan Hall, I feel that I need to address the complaint of Randy Morfitt. I feel his complaint is groundless and lacks merit. For the election to be void is a slap in the face of the residents who voted and is an insult, too.
Mr. Morfitt has abused his rights to complain about Buchanan Hall. I feel that his behavior is childish. Mr. Morfitt needs to examine if this is for the good of Buchanan Hall or if he is just stroking his own ego. The results are known by all the residents
Mr. Morfitt only got nine votes. He needs to look at the will of residents
Some action should be taken if Mr. Morfitt’s complaint is found to be false.
In my opinion, the election was fair and should not be overturned. The will of the people who took the time to vote should be taken into account.
