To the editor:

The Cyclone gymnastics team won the Big 12 championship, and your Monday paper can’t even give them a single word?

Not even a mention that a full story (and it had better be full coverage) will be coming on Tuesday? (And ditto for wrestling.)

Sure, everyone is excited by basketball, but there are other things happening, too, and you do a great disservice to the athletes and fans of other sports by not even mentioning their events this weekend.

At the very least, you could knock an inch or two off the story about last Thursday’s basketball game (definitely OLD news) and at least mention that articles will be forthcoming.

In sum, your coverage and story selection are miserable, to put it charitably.
