Alpha Xi Delta, 315 Lynn Ave., will be hosting its annual men’s five-on-five basketball tournament philanthropy to benefit children with lung disease this weekend. The tournament, which is called “Lungshot,” begins today at 5 p.m. in the State Gym.

Registration for the event is $30 for the first team and $20 for each additional team.

The funds generated will be used to send children with lung problems to Camp Superkids in Des Moines. The camp is sponsored by the American Lung Association.
