Huge to be me

Patrick Leer

It takes a huge person to be me these days, and that’s a shame.

Not only do we have someone who’s not me teaching a class on the Bible, but we also have an organization that supports people who aren’t me.

Ordinarily, I wouldn’t write to the Daily, but why pass up an opportunity to bitch about everyone who’s not me? After looking at the covers of magazines, newspapers and the nightly news, I feel threatened by everyone who is not me.

There has been a decline in moral and ethical judgments in America, and I’d like to take this opportunity to place blame where it belongs: on you.

Now, I’m sure you’re saying to yourself, “Hey! I’ve never murdered anyone, I don’t slander, I don’t molest the neighbor’s collie.” That may be true, but it’s people like you (namely, not me) who do those things, so you’re just as much to blame.

In closing, try to be more like me. And wear your seat belt, it saves lives.
