BREAKING: After winning the state of Pennsylvania and Nevada, Joe Biden has been elected as the 46th president-elect of the United States. Biden’s electoral count now sits at 279 and has won over 74 million votes. Story coming soon.

BREAKING: Pennsylvania

Saturday morning, Biden was officially declared the winner of Pennsylvania by The Associated Press. Biden locked down 49.6 while President Trump had 49.1 percent, Biden winning over 34,000 more votes. This comes after the Trump campaign claimed an early victory in the state. Democrats lost Pennsylvania in 2016.

BREAKING: Nevada

Saturday morning, Biden was officially declared the winner of Nevada, securing his lead even further. Biden won with 49.9 percent of the votes while Trump received 47.9, winning more than 25,000 votes than Trump. Nevadas electoral votes have now secured Bided 279 electoral votes.

Georgia

With more than 98 percent of votes reported, Biden leads Georgia with .1 percent over Trump, with just over a 4,000 votes. Trump held Georgia the majority of the race thus far. The race has not been called for either candidate in the state yet. Georgia has 16 electoral votes and the Secretary of State said due to close margins there will be a recount.

North Carolina

A state Democrats thought would flip currently leans in Trump’s favor as 98 percent of the votes have been reported. Trump sits at 50 percent while Biden is at 48.6 percent. Mail ballots postmarked by Election Day are accepted until Nov. 12. North Carolina has 15 electoral votes.

Arizona

A state that was called for Biden by Tuesday has an estimated 97 percent of votes reported. Biden has a lead has decreased slightly, now at 49.6 percent while Trump is at 48.7 percent. This decrease comes from a 70,000 ballot drop from Maricopa County, which tends to lean conservative. Arizona has faced many controversies about its voting process so far, such as poll workers providing Trump voters with sharpies to fill out their ballots. This resulted in a conspiracy that ballots filled out with the sharpies were invalidated. This has been proven to be false. Arizona has 11 electoral votes.

Alaska

This one may have been forgotten; continues Trump leads with 62.9 percent while Biden is at 33 percent. Remains at only 56 percent of votes have been reported. Results reported on election night were in-person voting through Oct. 29, according to The New York Times. All mail-in and absentee ballots will be counted until about a week after the election. Alaska has three electoral votes.
