253 more cases of COVID-19, seven more deaths reported in Iowa
The Office of the President releases new information regarding masks, vaccinations and how the fall 2021 semester will look.

An additional 253 cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Iowa by the Iowa Department of Public Health, making for a total of 42,738 positive cases.
Among those testing positive, a total of 30,476 have recovered.
Seven deaths from COVID-19 have been reported for a statewide total of 836.
In Story County, ten more positive cases of COVID-19 have been reported for a total of 1,056 positive cases. The death toll in Story County remains at 11.
