Former Cyclone point guard Monte Morris and the Denver Nuggets picked up a big win over the Boston Celtics on Monday night.

The Nuggets won, 115-107, to move to 9-1 on the season.

Morris played 20 minutes off the bench. He scored eight points on 3-of-5 shooting. Morris added four assists and a steal, and he was on the court for the Nuggets down the stretch as they closed out the game.

The Nuggets return to the court on Wednesday when they play the Memphis Grizzlies. Denver is currently tied for first in the NBA’s Western Conference with two-time defending champions Golden State.

Morris is now averaging 7.6 points and 3.5 assists per game in his second season in the NBA.
