Iowa State senior Bridget Carleton continues to rack up accolades ahead of the 2018-19 season.

On Tuesday, Carleton was named to the 2018-19 Wooden Award preseason top 30. The award, named after legendary former UCLA coach John Wooden, recognizes the top player in men’s and women’s basketball at the Division I level.

In addition to the Wooden Award, Carleton has also been named to the Cheryl Miller watch list, awarded to the nation’s top small forward, and was named to the preseason All-Big 12 team. Carleton averaged 19.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists last season for the Cyclones.

Other players from the Big 12 named to the list were Kalani Brown and Lauren Cox of Baylor. Megan Gustafson of Iowa was also included on the list. Iowa State opens its season against Niagara on Friday.
